1. To plan & execute routine maintenance of all electrical machines & devices leading as frontline engineer a team of skilled & semiskilled workmen.
2 To carry out diagnostic study and plan suitable repair / maintenance strategy in respect of electrical machines / devices of the power plant
3.To evaluate equipment failures and recommend changes to work practices or design as necessary to improve equipment reliability
4.To guide maintenance team for any emergency work. To assist in planning, execution and procurement activity.
5.To read and interpret electrical drawings, to carry out various activities such as relay setting, relay testing and fault diagnosis from data of numerical protection relays.
6.To carry out maintenance / trouble shooting / condition monitoring of gas based CCPP as well as 220KV switchyard.
7.To guide subordinates in the area of safety precautions / procedures for working on electrical equipment of various voltage rating

The ideal candidate should have minimum bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 08 years power plant maintenance experience out of which he shall have experience of atleast 5 years in combined cycle power plant of 150MW or above. Should be courageous, intelligent and vigilant with maximum age limit of 50 years
