PD/RotM Sales and Application Engineer
Your tasks
You will carry out customer services related to diagnostics and monitoring of high voltage equipment especially partial discharge measurements
You ensure smooth project implementation from the assembly to the installation and commissioning of the monitoring system for local customers in Oman.
You will provide technical and application support to customers for OMICRON partial discharge diagnostic and monitoring products
You will perform TanD and Capacitance measurements on Rotating Machines.
You support OMICRONs Regional Application Specialist, and your ideas deriving from your service experience will improve our products and will lead to new innovative solutions
You support with customer visits and trainings.
You are the primary contact for our customers regarding their monitoring system project
You support our customers with monitoring data evaluation and preparation of periodic summary reports on the status of the customer assets providing recommendations
You develop technical expertise regarding PD measurements
Your profile
You have successfully completed your graduate education in electronics / electrical engineering with a specialty in electrical power engineering
You have 2 3 years experience in electrical testing and commissioning, a focus on Rotating Machines is a plus.
ideally, you have first-hand experience in Partial Discharge measurements and want to become an expert in this field
You already gained experience in project management combined with a hands-on attitude
You see your challenge in the analysis and solving of customer requests
You have a very good knowledge of English
Communication and organizational skills are among your strengths
You can communicate in English fluently, other language skills are appreciated
