Job Description
Planning & Architecture
o Develop short-term and long-term target model of ITHRAA CAPITAL AND ITS GROUP COMPANIESS IT
o Contribute to the development of the ITHRAA CAPITAL AND ITS GROUP COMPANIESS IT roadmap
o Oversee the development of IT enterprise architecture, by translating organizational requirements into overall technical requirements
Solutions
o Oversee the implementation and support of all core and support solutions in order to ensure that the organizational needs are duly met and are well supported by IT
Infrastructure & Operations
o Oversee the alignment of the systems, applications and infrastructure with the IT architecture and ensure integration thereof, so as to enable the smooth running and efficiency of operations
o Oversee and guide the continuous improvement of the organizations IT infrastructure with state-of-art technologies in alignment with the enterprise architecture and organizational needs and
o Oversee any new investment in infrastructure including network switches, fiber cables, etc. in order to ensure that the investments are well deployed and the implementation is in line with schedule
o Oversee the effectiveness of the IT operations, in order to identify areas for improvement that meet the needs of the functions and enhance operations
o Oversee IT operations so that it meets the service levels agreed with users and conforms to relevant technical and security standards
Security
o Oversee the information security management function to ensure effective development and implementation of information security policies and systems to safeguard and protect all IT operations and ensure reliability and integrity of data
o Oversee the cyber security management function to ensure ITHRAA CAPITAL AND ITS GROUP COMPANIES is well equipped to protect its information systems and computer networks from cyber-attacks, intrusions, malware and various types of data breaches
Support
o Oversee the provision of IT support related to the Information Sharing & Advanced Analytics, Enterprise Management Solutions and Communication & Collaboration solutions to enhance the performance and efficiency of ITHRAA CAPITAL AND ITS GROUP COMPANIESS employees
Risk
o Direct the implementation of risk mitigation strategies that would reduce ITHRAA CAPITAL AND ITS GROUP COMPANIESSs overall risk pertaining to IT systems and processes in order to ensure organizational continuity and disaster recovery
Technical Advice
o Provide advice to the management team on IT initiatives / projects to support the achievement of the organizations objectives
Continuous Improvement
o Stimulate team members and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account best practices, improvement of IT processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
IT Procurement
o Ensure the effective development, implementation and maintenance of service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure provision of high quality IT services in line with defined quality standards
o Validate and approve sourcing methods for the provision of IT systems and services
Coordination & Collaboration
o Ensure effective collaboration with all the department heads to understand their needs, and advise on IT architecture/ systems and related solutions to meet their short and long term needs
o Co-source, in coordination with Procurement Unit, external vendors / IT support services where required to ensure that IT procedures follow best practices and for the purpose of providing optimal IT solutions to the organization at a reasonable overall cost
Strategy
o Participate and contribute to the development of ITHRAA CAPITAL AND ITS GROUP COMPANIESS strategy by providing input and plans in line with the overall strategic objectives
o Develop the divisional strategy in line with the ITHRAA CAPITAL AND ITS GROUP COMPANIESS strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing functions strategies across ITHRAA CAPITAL AND ITS GROUP COMPANIES
o Ensure that the divisional strategic plan is developed and implemented in line with ITHRAA CAPITAL AND ITS GROUP COMPANIESSs vision, mission and strategic objectives
Policies, Processes & Procedures
o Monitor the implementation of policies, systems, processes procedures and controls and ensure that all relevant requirements are fulfilled
Budgeting
o Prepare the IT Section budget, in coordination with the Finance Section in order to ensure alignment with budget guidelines
o Monitor financial performance versus budget to keep track of costs, ensure areas of unsatisfactory performance are rectified promptly and improvement opportunities are capitalized upon
Leadership
o Manage the effective achievement of the section objectives through the leadership of the IT Section setting individual objectives, recruiting qualified staff, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, providing formal and informal feedback and appraisal in order to maximize subordinate and section performance
o Communicate ITHRAA CAPITAL AND ITS GROUP COMPANIESS vision across the section and ensure awareness and dissemination of the strategic objectives
Change Management
o Lead and direct the management of change through continuous improvement of section systems, processes and practices taking into account international/ local best practice and changes in international/ local standards which demand proactive action plans
