HVAC Technicians
ITI/ Diploma with experience in installation, repair, overhauling and commissioning of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment (including items like receiver, condenser, compressor, filter, motors, controls, thermostat, valves, window unit etc.) in marine industry. Ability to read and interpret documents such as schematics, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Marine Electricians
Marine Electricians
ITI/Diploma with experience in installation of switchboards, distribution boards, control panels, small power equipment, electrical accessories, cable trays/ladders, MCT block filling. Experience in cabling works, cable glanding and cable terminations. Ability to read schematics, layouts, SLDs, wiring diagrams, cable schedules and operation manuals. Knowledge about safety requirements, right tools and consumables for the job. Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical power systems.
Duct Fabricators
Experience in fabricating square-to-round transition ducts, offset ducts, reducers, elbow / bend etc. with thin sheet metal (less than 4mm thick) in lock-formed / welded-type construction. Ability to read and understand drawings.
Insulators (Lagging Pads)
Skills required Experience in manufacturing / stitching / sewing lagging pads for valves and flange joints.
Plumbers
Skill in the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of plumbing systems.
Experience in PVC piping, PPR piping and mapress press-fit piping systems installation (copper/ stainless steel/carbon steel).
Knowledge of copper compression fittings and their jointing techniques.
Experience in the installation of sanitary fixtures like wash basins, water closets, showers, mixers and related accessories according to the drawings.
Furniture Carpenters
Experience in fabrication and installation of wooden furniture. Experience in installation of false flooring, steel doors, steel windows, steel furniture and different types of wall panels (eg: sandwich/gypsum) and ceilings. Ability to read drawing and site-marking. Prefer carpenters with marine interior fit-out experience.
Finishing Carpenters
Experience in fabrication and installation of decorative wooden/steel/stainless steel furniture. Experience in installation of wooden decorative flooring. Experience in fabrication and installation of highly- finished decorative wall panels and ceilings. Experience in fabrication and installation of various types of handrails. Experience in in-house fabrication works in carpentry and coating/painting workshop. Prefer carpenters with Yacht/Cruise ship interior fit-out experience.
Masons ; Experience in Plastering, Block , tiling , concrete etc
All the candidates should have at least 5 years experience in their respective field. Candidates having experience in Shipyard, Marine and port would be an added advantage.
