Designation : Quantity Surveyor

Job Location : Maldives

Job Criteria :

Qualification :- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying or B.E / B.Tech Civil Engineering

Experience :- Minimum 4 years experience in Quantity Survey in Hotel Construction Industry.

Work exposure in Maldives would be an added advantage and other international exposure would still be considered.

Other Requirement-Keen to travel and staying in an office or project site
Fit with local condition & environment

Remunerations : $1,500 - $2,250 PM ( INR 1,00,000 - 1,50,000 PM )  + company provides food & accommodation, local allowance and 2 return tickets to native country.

Job Responsibilities :-

Project Inception and Development: 
  • Generate preliminary estimates of the buildings & services
  • Generator Bill of Quantities
  • Provide preliminary budget of the building and service areas
  • Prepare a high level project schedule

Planning & Mobilization 
  • Thorough study of drawings and note the discrepancies & missing details of the materials
  • Generate complete Bill of Quantities and Bill of Materials
  • Prepare project cost, establishing unit cost of the items/works
  • Prepare tender document, floating tenders, tender appraisals and prepare comparison sheet
  • Persuade negotiations, prepare contract document, amendments, job order and related document
  • Prepare Logic notes suppliers/ contractors price v/s project cost and process through internal approvals prior to execution
  • Prepare a work program/project schedule and review time to time
  • Procurement of goods and materials as per specification to meet project timelines

Project Execution/Implementation 
  • Coordination with project architects and team
  • Project cost monitoring and value engineering
  • Evaluation of project cost v/s budget
  • Prepare bi-monthly, monthly cost report, progress report of the project
  • Measure and certified contractors progress of works
  • Prepare payment certificates,
  • Coordinate with various suppliers and contractors for time deliveries of materials and works
  • Monitoring project progress and take necessary steps for corrective measures.
  • Review and maintain timely supplies and quality of material
